Movies on Netflix: Total Recall

There is a good chance Scarlet Witch could be under some sort of mind control, or she could have possibly been brainwashed because there is definitely a precedent for both in the MCU. If there is one sci-fi flick Netflix has to offer that has to do with a similar identity crisis situation, it is without a doubt Paul Verhoeven’s 1990 classic film starring Arnold Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone Total Recall.

Schwarzenegger plays Douglas Quaid, a freedom fighter who gets his memory erased only to get it back after visiting the titular fantasy memory implant service. It will be interesting to see if Ms. Maximoff will have to fight her way out before the credits roll on WandaVision just like Quaid had to on Mars. Until that happens, fans can enjoy Total Recall on the streaming powerhouse with 200 million subscribers.

Netflix shows: Love, Death & Robots

Every episode of WandaVision is very different than the one that preceded it gives each chapter its own unique, sci-fi sitcom-driven direction resulting in a gratifying and thought-provoking experience each time out. Netflix’s short-form anthology, Love, Death & Robots from Mank helmer David Fincher and Deadpool director Tim Miller offer up all kinds of wild and stirring tales spanning from different dimensions, realities, and planets, very similar to what is seen throughout the Disney+ series.

There is no denying that WandaVision contains elements of science fiction, fantasy, horror, action, and comedy. For those in search of the same recipe on Netflix need to look no further than the 18 gorgeously realized and visually stunning episodes, each having on its own stylish animation making Love, Death & Robots a perfect follow-up to the well-received MCU show.
