Teen movies on Netflix: 6. The World We Make

Jordan Bishop and Lee Grove are an unlikely couple in their small town. She’s an equestrian and he’s a football player and star student. But nevertheless the two share a bond that’s tested by their fellow townsfolk as racial biases begin to surface when they take their relationship public. It’s a tale not uncommon for those who step outside of the lanes and roles that are expected of them no matter how progressive a town and its people believe themselves to be.

The World We Make will be available to stream on Feb.10.
