It’s only been a few days of Redditors buying GameStop stock and other stocks to stick to the hedge funds, and now, there’s going to be a Netflix movie about it.

According to a report from Deadline, Netflix is making a GameStop movie about Redditors buying GameStop stock and the upheaval surrounding the situation.

Deadline is reporting Mark Boal, who wrote the screenplay for The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty, has been tapped to write the screenplay for the film. Netflix has not commented on the news, but that doesn’t mean it’s not true. Likely, things are still in the works and not finalized yet.

The report also mentions that Scott Galloway is on board as a consultant for the story.

Noah Centineo to star in the GameStop Netflix movie

While this news is wild and interesting, the best part for Netflix fans is that Noah Centineo, Netflix star and heartthrob of the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before movies, will star in the GameStop movie.

There were no details about who Centineo would be playing. I’m hoping it’s the leader of the “Reddit Army” that rallied the people to buy the GameStop stock, Kevin Gill, according to the report, but that has not been confirmed at this time.

It will be really interesting to see how this all plays out. It seems wild that Netflix is already moving forward on a movie like this, especially considering we don’t know how this story will end. We’re very much in the middle of all the drama still raging on.

We’ll let you know more about the GameStop movie starring Centineo at Netflix when we find out. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks and months.
