Canceled shows: Castle Rock

Castle Rock is another Hulu series that I think would make a great Netflix show. If Castle Rock was on Netflix, we’d be talking about how we’re so excited for a fourth season.

Instead, Hulu canceled the series after only two seasons on the streaming service. For those who don’t know Castle Rock is based on characters and stories from Stephen King books. It’s set in the fictional town of Castle Rock, Maine. It’s like the Stephen King town you’d never want to live in or travel through.

Netflix is making big strides in the world of horror TV. We’ve seen so many good horror shows on Netflix, including Stranger Things, The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and more. Midnight Mass is going to be another big horror series. Castle Rock would fit right in with those shows perfectly.

I don’t know what has to happen for Netflix to save this series or if there’s even any hope. But, I do believe that fan pressure can pretty much do anything during the streaming era. If enough people are interested, rules can be broken to make it happen!

I really want to see Castle Rock season 3! Hopefully, you do, too.

Stay tuned for more news about Castle Rock and its future. Unfortunately, I’m not too optimistic about this one.
