Is Love and Monsters on Netflix?

A new movie starring Dylan O’Brien and Jessica Henwick is coming to Netflix soon! Netflix confirmed Love and Monsters will be added to the streaming service sometime in the spring of 2021, but there’s a catch.

The announcement happened via Twitter. Dylan O’Brien tagged Netflix in a tweet of a review praising the movie. Netflix Film later replied that those who live outside of the US will be able to watch the movie this spring.

Love and Monsters premiered in some theaters and on-demand in October 2020. It was originally supposed to be released in February 2021, but it was moved up because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

When is Love and Monsters coming to Netflix US?

Netflix subscribers obviously want to watch Love and Monsters as soon as possible. Fans love O’Brien and Henwick for their roles in other popular works, including Teen Wolf, Game of Thrones, Marvel’s Iron Fist and more.

Unfortunately, Love and Monsters, probably, won’t be on Netflix US for a while, if at all. Although it’s produced by Shawn Levy and 21 Laps Entertainment, which is the same production company that makes Stranger Things, Love and Monsters is probably going to be heading to CBS All Access or Paramount+ (whatever it’s called at that point).

The movie is produced by Paramount Pictures, so it should be available on Paramount+ when it launches in March 2021.

Love and Monsters might not be available to stream as soon as the streaming service launches. Often, there’s about a six-month-plus gap until the new movies are available on streaming services. But, because of the pandemic, the film industry has been completely upended, so we don’t really know how it will all be worked out.

I wish Love and Monsters was coming to Netflix US! I really want to see this movie. I guess I’ll just have to buy it on-demand or wait until it hits Paramount+.
