To All the Boys 3: Always and Forever is the third, and most likely final, movie in the series. Is it like the previous two movies and based on a book?

Oh yes. In fact, because it’s based on a book is the reason why I’m saying it’s likely the final movie in the series. There are three books in Lara Jean’s story—so far, of course. There doesn’t seem to be a move to write more books, but you never know.

The third book is titled Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han. It picks up off the back of the second book, where LJ chose Peter and not Ambrose.

Now the two will need to decide whether a long-distance relationship is worth it. After all, LJ doesn’t get into the same college as him and she needs to rethink her relationship and college plans.

An excellent book to end the trilogy

Just like the first two books, Always and Forever, Lara Jean offers us more growth for LJ. She realizes that she’s more than just a guy, but at the same time, she loves this guy in front of her. The problem is some of the people around her, including her younger sister who tells her she’s not cut out for long-distance.

It’s hard when people get into your head, right?

The book has it’s highs and lows (although doesn’t have a love triangle). It has its moments that make you fall in love with Peter even more, while also offering us moments that make us scream for LJ as she figures out what she wants.

To All the Boys 3 will condense some of the storylines, but the trailer makes it clear that some of the biggest moments will be included. It’s likely to be another excellent adaptation and hit movie for Netflix.
