Are Giannina and Damian from Love is Blind still together?

There are so many dating reality shows on the market right now, but fans of the genre absolutely adored Love is Blind when the 10-episode first season premiered on Netflix on February 13, 2020.

I didn’t watch the series, but I was bombarded with tweets and news articles about Love is Blind on social media for weeks after it first dropped.

The first season of the series chronicled the journeys of 30 men and women hoping to find a love connection in a rather unconventional manner. Participants were matched up in adjoining rooms called pods. They were allowed to talk and get to know each other, but they cannot see each other in person. Eventually, matches were made and the men proposed to the women, after which the couples could finally meet face to face. After that, the couples lived together and meet each other’s families before ultimately deciding whether or not to get married.

The resulting couples were pretty chaotic, to say the least. One such match was Giannina Gibelli and Damian Powers, who initially got engaged but then split up on their wedding day.

Are Gigi and Damian from Love is Blind still together?

The reunion special revealed that the couple decided to give their relationship another shot, but it is unclear if they are still together as of January 2021.

The most recent photo of the pair on social media was posted to Damian’s Instagram account in October 2020. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the couple has called it quits, but fans shouldn’t get their hopes up.

The fact that Giannina and Damian didn’t post sappy pictures together over the course of the holiday season doesn’t exactly bode well for their relationship. However, they have not officially announced their separation.
