What to watch: Cobra Kai

Cobra Kai was added to Netflix in 2020. The YouTube original series moved to Netflix after Netflix acquired the third season. If you liked The Karate Kid movies, you’re going to love Cobra Kai! 

The series brings back many of your favorite Karate Kid favorites, including Ralph Macchio, William Zabka and more. In the series, which is set more than 30 years after the Karate Kid movies, Johnny Lawrence opens Cobra Kai to help Miguel, a teen who lives in his building, stand up to the bullies at school.

This act reignites a decades-old feud between Johnny and Daniel LaRusso. This time, their kids are involved and there are more people who could be hurt.

Cobra Kai season 3 just hit Netflix on Jan. 1, 2021. It’s no. 2 on the Netflix Top 10 right now. Cobra Kai season 4 is already in the works and coming to Netflix in the future.

Lupin is the no. 3 show to watch on Netflix right now, and it’s also no. 3 on the Netflix Top 10. Apparently, this is the first French original series to make the Netflix Top 10 in the US, and that’s kind of shocking. Netflix is making great content all over the globe.

Anyway, Lupin is a must-watch for heist movie and show fans. The series is a re-telling (of sorts) of the classic tale of Arsène Lupin. Oman Sy stars in the series as Assane Diop.

The series tells the story of a man who will stop at nothing to avenge his father and bring the pain on a family that wronged him years ago. That’s all I’m going to say! If you like heist movies and shows, you just have to watch this show on Netflix right now.
