5 must-see movies on Netflix this weekend: Pieces of a Woman and more

For those who love a good psychological crime thriller, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is the next on the list of must-see movies on Netflix this weekend.

Daniel Craig stars as Mikael Blomkvist, a journalist in need of a computer hacker to solve a mystery. He hires Lisbeth Salander, played by Rooney Mara, and the two figure out the mystery of a woman missing for 40 years. Of course, there’s far more to the conspiracy that they uncover.

Despite gaining a lot of praise from fans of the book series by Stieg Larsson, the sequels were never created. That doesn’t stop this movie from being one you need to watch.

Spring Breakers

Finally, it’s the movie that is dropping tomorrow. Spring Breakers comes from the excellent production company A24. There isn’t a movie not to love from A24.

Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine star as four college friends looking to have a spring break they will never forget. The problem is they’re short on cash and decide to rob a diner on the way to Florida.

Yes, it catches up to them. Yes, they’re arrested. It’s only thanks to drug deal and aspiring rapper Alien, played by James Franco, that the four are bailed out. They’ve not learned their lesson, though. The four enter a life of crime with Alien. What could possibly go wrong?
