What time are the Sex and the City movies on Netflix?

Fans of Carrie Bradshaw and her best friends will be happy to know they can watch both Sex and the City movies on Netflix in January 2021.

Pour yourself a Cosmo and watch both Sex and the City movies on Jan. 1, 2021, at 12 a.m. PT. If you stay up late on New Year’s Eve (on the West coast), you can watch the movies as soon as the clock strikes midnight.

For those who don’t know, the series aired on HBO from 1998-2004, and the first movie picks up four years after the series ended. Fans are divided regarding the movies. Many have shared a lot of criticism, while others love them as much as the series. There is also a group of fans who love the movies and have never watched the series.

The series provided an escape from the viewer’s real lives allowing them to live vicariously through the lives of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her friends Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), Samantha (Kim Cattrall) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they explore dating and relationships in Manhattan.

The series focused on the girls and their dating lives while looking for the right man as well as growth in their careers. The movies take the relationships further as the girls experience relocation, marriage and children.

The movies also include all of our favorite characters David Eigenberg (Steve Brady), Evan Handler (Harry), Jason Lewis (Smith Jerrod), Lynn Cohen (Magda), Mario Cantone (Anthony Marentino), Willie Garson (Stanford Blatch), Jennifer Hudson (Louise), Candice Bergen (Enid Frick) and Chris Noth (Mr. Big).

This writer started by watching the movies and became so engrossed in them that I moved on to the series. I enjoy the movies just as much as the series. The storylines are a great escape from my real world, and the fashion is outstanding. As an avid lover of shoes, I can relate to Carrie’s obsession with shoes, although my price point is way below her favorite brand, Manolo Blahnik.

Check out both Sex in the City movies on January 1 on Netflix.
