31 shows in danger of being canceled in 2021

On My Block
Network: Netflix
Number of Seasons: Three
Why We’re Concerned: Although there has been speculation that Netflix has picked up On My Block for a fourth season, no official announcement has been made despite season 3 dropping in March 2020.
Final Verdict: Given how well On My Block has performed and been received in past seasons, we’re optimistic about the show’s future; however, as we saw with GLOW you never know what to expect meaning we could very well have seen the last of this critical darling.
Charmed
Network: The CW
Number of Seasons: Three; Season 3 to premiere on Jan. 24, 2021
Why We’re Concerned: Charmed has never been the biggest performer in the ratings even by The CW’s standards, which is never helpful to a show’s long-term success. It also doesn’t help that the show continues to be surrounded by drama with the cast’s ongoing feuding with the original Charmed stars.
Final Verdict: Between its struggling ratings and the behind-the-scenes drama with the original Charmed cast and current cast, it’s very possible The CW could decide to cut its losses and make season 3 the show’s last.
Sing On!
Network: Netflix
Number of Seasons: One
Why We’re Concerned: Since debuting in September 2020, there has been no news about the show or its future and it doesn’t help there wasn’t quite a lot of buzz surrounding the show as we’ve seen with other Netflix reality series such as The Circle, Love is Blind, and Nailed It!
Final Verdict: While the series didn’t seem to create quite as much buzz as some of Netflix’s other reality series in 2020, Netflix seems to have quickly franchised the show dropping Sing On! Germany and Sing On! Spain all in the same year which seems to be a positive sign for the show’s future. It’s possible the show might have already sung its swan song, we have a feeling the series hasn’t taken its final curtain call just yet.
