Netflix shows to watch on Christmas Eve: Home for Christmas

Home for Christmas is one of my new favorite shows on Netflix. I just discovered it this holiday season, and it’s wonderful.

This Norwegian original series tells the story of Johanne, played by Ida Elise Broch, who is trying to find a boyfriend to bring home to her parents and family for Christmas. We’ve seen this story before, but this is the best version of it I’ve ever seen and I’m not even joking! It’s so good.

Home for Christmas season 2 was just added to Netflix on Dec. 18, 2020. Now, we’re just waiting for Netflix to renew Home for Christmas season 3.

Netflix shows to watch on Christmas Eve: Outer Banks

Outer Banks is my top Netflix show of 2020! The series snuck up on me and surprised me in April. If you like teen drama and treasure-hunting shows and movies, this is the show for you.

Chase Stokes stars as John B, a teenager who is struggling to stay out of the system after his father goes missing on the Outer Banks. John B and his friends start looking for a shipwrecked treasure on the island from years and years ago. They aren’t the only ones looking for the gold.

Outer Banks is coming back for season 2 in 2021. We can’t wait to see the new season.
