5. Get Santa (2014)
The holidays can be a very chaotic time for many, even for Santa Claus, and it seems that if we’re not careful, it could all come to a crashing halt fast. That seems to be exactly what goes down in the 2017 Christmas comedy film Get Santa. This magnificent holiday tale proves early on that it will be a laugh out loud riot from start to finish and doe not disappoint with its silly seasonal shenanigans. The film features a fantastic cast, including Rafe Spall, Warwick Davis, Jodie Whittaker, and Kit Connor. Jim Broadbent’s turn as Santa Clause is superb in so many ways and definitely stands out as a sensational highlight of the entire fun-filled endeavor.
Get Santa’s excellent story follows a guy named Steve, who recently just got paroled from Jail and is surprised to learn that Santa Claus is asleep in the garage where his son lives. Santa ends up in Jail, and Steve, along with his son Tom must find the reindeer and the crashed sled in order to save Christmas before it’s too late. Together they two get to bond, and this crazy Christmas caper they have found themselves in may just be the second chance they need to be a family again. The stakes have never been higher, and the jokes have never been funnier in the stellar Christmas comedy film available on Netflix this season.
