2. Christmas Break-in (2018)

Has anyone ever wondered what it would be like to be stranded at school around the holidays because of a snowstorm? Many thoughts begin to race through the mind as to what could potentially go down in such a situation. Luckily for those that have trouble picturing such an ordeal, the fine folks at Netflix have stacked their library full of great holiday-themed content, and fortunately, there just so happens to be a title that fits that description. Out of all the children and family movies with a noel-centric theme attached to them, Christmas Break-in is one subscribers, and Home Alone fans should definitely check out.

Christmas Break-In is a family-friendly Christmas comedy starring Danny glover, Denise Richards, and Cameron Seely. The story follows a 9-year-old girl named Izzy, who is stranded at school after her parents were late to pick her up from their hectic schedule. A blizzard also complicates things, but that’s not all she has to deal with as some nefarious individuals kidnap the school janitor, and Izzy is the only one that can save the day. Plenty of Home Alone-esque shenanigans go down throughout the story, and the film available on Netflix proves to be a solid choice for a movie night with the whole family this holiday season.
