11. The Christmas Chronicles 2 (2020)

Netflix is no stranger to the sequel game, especially when it comes to Christmas related titles. A few fine examples of this thriving practice would be The Princess Switch 2: Switched Again and A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding. But adding to that impressive list of fantastic follow-ups is the next chapter in the brilliant family-friendly holiday adventure starring Kurt Russel as Santa Clause. The Christmas Chronicles 2 has all the fan favorites back in action for more yuletide shenanigans, with two new talented additions adding significant value to the festive feature. Transformers and Fast and Furious star Tyrese Gibson has joined the fun, and Deadpool 2 standout Julian Dennison plays Belsnickle in the exciting second outing. Goldie Hawn, who had a cameo in the original, has a much larger role this time around as Mrs. Claus.

The Christmas Chronicles 2, which holds a substantial rating on Rotten Tomatoes, follows Kate Pierce, who is now a cynical teen not too thrilled about spending Xmas time in Mexico with her mom’s new boyfriend and his son Jack. But then. Kate and Jack are transported to the North Pole to help Mr. and Mrs. Clause to stop a mysterious and naughty troublemaker elf who threatens the North Pole. Once again, the battle to save Christmas is officially on, and Netflix subscribers will not want to miss a second of the action or the fun in this well-crafted sequel.
