Katie McGrath has had a pretty impressive acting career thus far with credits including Netflix’s Slasher, Merlin, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and Dracula. But before she was Lena Luthor in Supergirl or getting mauled in the air by Pteranodons before getting eaten alive by the Mosasaurus in Jurassic World, Langford was the titular character in the 2011 made for TV film A Princess for Christmas. Starring alongside her in the aromatic comedy-drama is Bloodshot and Outlander star Sam Heughan and infamous James Bond actor Roger Moore, making it a charming star-studded holiday-themed affair that is sure to get Netflix subscribers in the Christmas spirit.

A Princess for Christmas centers on McGrath’s character Jules Daly, who is an antique store worker that gets custody of her niece and nephew after the tragic loss of her sister and brother-in-law. Then things change when the children’s; wealthy grandfather, who has been estranged from them, sends them an invitation to spend the holidays with him, which Jules eventually goes along with after initially refusing. When they reach the castle in Europe, she unwittingly falls for a dashing prince leaving audiences with a wonderful love story to stream on Netflix that is simply perfect for the holidays!
