The chambering, fun -fill film starts and ends with Christmas and hits upon almost every other holiday in between, offering up something new and refreshing this season. The film also features Frances Fisher, Luke Bracey, and Kristin Chenoweth, who all turn in memorable and hilarious performances throughout the laugh-out-loud dating adventure. The movie topped the charts on the streaming service when it was released in October 2020, with many fans hoping there is a sequel on the way, which would be great considering how the entire affair comes to an end.

Holidate has Roberts playing Sloane, a young working woman who hates the holidays due to the judgment she gets for not being in a relationship. The newly single lady runs into a guy named Jackson from Australia while returning gifts after a less than ideal holiday. Things start out fun like nothing can go wrong, but the two start to get close, and the question becomes, are they more than just each other’s Holidate? The Netflix original is funny, heartfelt, and will definitely not disappoint subscribers.
