Romantic Christmas movies on Netflix: The Knight Before Christmas

The Knight Before Christmas is a charming holiday rom-com that features a very talented lineup of stars, including Vanessa Hudgens, Josh Whitehouse, and Emanuel Chriqui. The Netflix original film was released back in November 2018 and was very well-received by fans. The romantic Christmas flick has an impressive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and the general consensus seems to be that it is a worthy addition to the gene and an excellent choice for a date night during the holiday season.

In the exceptional, holiday-themed Netflix original movie, Hudgens plays Brooke, a science teacher who is disillusioned by love and has completely given up on finding her happily ever after. Josh Whitehouse plays a medieval knight named Sir Cole, who is transported 14th century to present-day Ohio by an old crone in order to fulfill his destiny of becoming a knight. When he arrives, Brooke hits him with her car, and when he tells her his absurd story, she thinks it’s a result of the head injury suffered during the accident. She agrees to take him in and protect while he recovers, but soon things happen, and she may have actually found her knight in shining armor after all.
