The Great British Baking Show: Holidays season 3 is coming to Netflix tonight

Get out the cookie cutters and confectioners’ sugar, because it’s almost time for The Great British Baking Show: Holidays to return! The third season of this holiday-themed baking competition will premiere on Netflix on December 4, a.k.a. late night tonight.

The Great British Baking Show is such wholesome entertainment and I love their holiday spinoffs even more. I can barely bake brownies, so it’s amazing to watch bakers with no professional training create such amazing treats under intense pressure.

The seasonal special will feature four familiar amateur bakers as well as the cast of Derry Girls! As much as I love The Great British Baking Show and all of its iterations, I don’t know the show well enough to recognize the returning bakers by their faces.

After some investigating, I was unable to find a press release that included the contestant’s names. Truthfully, I usually just rewatch Nadiya Hussain’s season when I’m in the mood to watch people stress over over baked goods.

According to NerdsandBeyond, the Derry Girl cast members that will be featured include Nicola Coughlan, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Dylan Llewellyn, Siobhan McSweeney, and Jamie-Lee O’Donnell. What a fun addition to the special! The actors will be asked to create New Year’s inspired bakes.

You’ll have to tune in tonight to find out who will make the best holiday sweets this year.
