To All The Boys 3 is coming to Netflix in early 2021

We heard some good news and wanted to share with fans of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and those waiting patiently for To All The Boys 3. 

We learned recently that To All The Boys 3 is not coming to Netflix in 2020 as we originally thought. Earlier this year, we thought the movie was going to be released in September or October 2020, but the movie wasn’t released then. It was also left off the list of what’s new on Netflix in December 2020, which means the movie isn’t coming to the streaming service this year.

Well, now we have a better idea when To All The Boys 3 will be released on Netflix.

In a recent interview with ET Canada, To All The Boys star Janel Parrish gave fans an update on the To All The Boys 3 release date. Parrish said the movie is coming to Netflix “early next year.” She also added a “fingers crossed” at the end of the statement.

So, we don’t know the exact release date yet, but we have a much better idea when to expect the new movie on the streaming service.

Interestingly, Jenny Han, who wrote the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy that the Netflix movies are based on, recently shared the Netflix tie-in of Always and Forever, Lara Jean, which is the book that the final movie of the trilogy is based on. I’d expect that means the movie is coming pretty soon. The book will be available on Dec. 15, 2020.

Will To All The Boys 3 be released on Valentine’s Day?

To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You was released on Netflix on Feb. 12, 2020, just in time for Valentine’s Day 2020. As it so happens, Valentine’s Day 2021 is on a Sunday, so it’s unlikely that we’ll see To All The Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean on Valentine’s Day 2021.

More likely, we’ll get to see To All The Boys 3 on Netflix on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021. That seems like a great day to release the movie. Most Netflix originals are released on Fridays anyway, so it checks out as a possibility.

It’s also possible that we could see To All The Boys 3 in January. Netflix has had many shows and movies delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. So, there will be some gaps in coverage. Perhaps, Netflix could release To All The Boys 3 in January since the movie was already finished months before everything shut down.

For now, expect to see To All The Boys 3 in early 2021. We’ll share the release date as soon as we find out.
