There are so many great holiday movies on Netflix that it can be hard to keep track of them all. However, I’m here to let you know that another one is coming down the hatch! A new film called A California Christmas is coming soon to the streaming platform.

Without further ado, here’s what we know about A California Christmas.

A California Christmas release date

According to RadioTimes, A California Christmas is set to premiere on Netflix on December 14, 2020. That’s right around the corner, so mark your December calendars!

A California Christmas cast

As reported by IMDb, A California Christmas is set to star Lauren Swickard, Josh Swickard, Amanda Detmer, Ali Afshar, David Del Rio, Gunnar Anderson, Katelyn Epperly, and Curtis Eugene Williams. I noticed that the two leads have the same last name and it turns out that they are married in real life! Soaps In Depth reports that Josh Swickard and Lauren York met on the set of Roped. Josh proposed to Lauren during a game of charades.

A California Christmas plot

A California Christmas tells the story of Joseph (Josh Swickard), a wealthy businessman vying for a promotion at work. His mission? He has to convince a hardworking farmer named Callie (Lauren Swickard) to sell her family’s land before Christmas or he loses his promotion. In order to gain Callie’s trust, Joseph poses as a farmhand. I smell love (and manure) in the air!
