HOME ALONE - Eight year old Kevin MacAllister (Macaulay Culkin) gets lost in the shuffle as his large, upper-middle class suburban family rushes to make a plane that will ferry them off to their Christmas vacation in France; Kevin, having been banished to an attic room as punishment, is subsequently forgotten. At first this is a dream come true, as for the first time in his young life he has no one to answer to but himself, and he takes full advantage of his newfound freedom, eating junk food and watching late-night horror flicks. But when the bumbling Wet Bandits Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern) target his house for a robbery, Kevin must step up to defend his home; he sets a maze of booby traps so elaborate that only an eight year old imagination could concoct them. Ready for one last stop on our Christmas movie marathon around the United States? Another Hallmark Countdown to Christmas title, Christmas at Grand Valley takes us all the way to Wyoming with fan-favorite star Danica McKellar. This time around, the erstwhile Winnie Cooper plays Kelly, a burned out Chicago artist looking for an escape from the fast-paced whirlwind of the art gallery world. Kelly decides to return home to Grand Valley for the holidays for a chance to reinvigorate her creative spark by taking in her hometown’s grandest Christmas traditions.

While home in Grand Valley, Kelly meets single father and businessman Leo (Brennan Elliott). He’s in town to review the value of one of the town’s hotels, but he and Kelly might just find a whole lot more as they and Leo’s children spend time together basking in the holiday spirit of Grand Valley. Little by little, Kelly begins to regain her inspiration for art and openness for love, all thanks to spending Christmas in Grand Valley. As far as coast-to-coast trips around the country via Christmas movies go, it doesn’t get much more hopeful than Christmas at Grand Valley.
