Technically, you could travel through most of the United States just by watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and what a geographical exploration of romance and belief that is! In 2019, Hallmark journeyed to Montana for Christmas in Montana. Kellie Martin stars as widowed single mother Sara Bradley, who focuses on her work as a financial advisor and her daughter, Chloe (Ava Preston), rather than her husband’s death. While traveling to Bigfork, Montana to help rancher Travis Carson (Collin Ferguson) save his ranch, Sara gets a whole lot more than she bargained for.

Christmas in Montana, though set in Montana, was actually filmed in Ontario, Canada. But the spirit of Montana still manages to peak through in the love story. Once again, the Hallmark holiday movie offered the similar beats fans will have become accustomed to throughout the years. It’s a very simple yet charming romantic tale of healing and saving a ranch, and there’s nothing wrong with a paint-by-numbers movie every now and again. If you’re into that sort of thing, and many people are, head on up to Montana for Hallmark’s vibrant Christmas in Montana.
