Kids Christmas movies: 6. Get Santa

Get Santa is the best kids Christmas movie on Netflix that you probably haven’t seen or heard of yet.

Get Santa was released in theaters in 2014. It’s been on Netflix for a while, and it’s a staple on our list of the best Christmas movies on Netflix every year.

The British film has a great cast, including Jim Broadbent, Rafe Spall, Jodie Whittaker, Warwick Davis, and Kit Connor.

Broadbent, who most US audiences will recognize as Professor Slughorn in the Harry Potter movies, stars as Santa Claus. A man and his son must help Santa rescue his reindeer after they are impounded. Without the reindeer, there’ll be no Christmas! And, that can’t happen!

You need to watch Get Santa on Netflix sometime this holiday season. If you like British comedies or just need something a little different than what you’re used to, this is the Netflix movie for you.

Get Santa has 79 percent critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The audience score is a little less and not so good. I promise this is a solid watch during the holidays.
