Kids Christmas movies: 7. The Christmas Chronicles 2

Release Date: Wednesday, Nov. 25 

The Christmas Chronicles 2 is coming to Netflix just in time for Thanksgiving. The sequel to the hit Netflix movie, The Christmas Chronicles, arrives on the streaming service the day before Thanksgiving.

This time around, the whole gang from the first movie is back for the sequel, including Kurt Russell, Darby Camp, Judah Lewis, and Goldie Hawn. They’ll be joined by Jazhir Bruno, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Julian Dennison, Tyrese Gibson and Darlene Love.

In the new movie, Kate and Teddy, played by Camp and Lewis, must help Santa defend the North Pole against the Belshnickel, played by Deadpool 2 and Hunt for the Wilderpeople star Julian Dennison.

This movie has huge potential, and depending on how it goes, we could see Netflix order another sequel and make this series a trilogy.

The Christmas Chronicles 2 might be better than No. 7 on this list, but we’ll have to wait and see for sure when it’s released.
