Best Christmas movies on Netflix: A New York Christmas Wedding
If an angel gave you the choice to take a different path in life, would you take it? That’s a decision Jennifer Ortiz (Nia Fairweather) is struggling with in A New York Christmas Wedding.
Jennifer’s Christmas Eve nuptials are quickly approaching but something isn’t right in her spirit. She didn’t want to get married during the holiday season but her fiancé David Wilks (Otoja Abit) didn’t support her when his mother insisted it was the perfect time. See, for Jennifer, without her father and best friend, Gabrielle Vernaci (Adriana DeMeo), the holidays are hard and what’s supposed to be one of the happiest days of her life shouldn’t be during a season that brings her pain.
Frustrated with the situation one night, Jennifer encounters her guardian angel, Azrael Gabison (Cooper Koch), who gives her the opportunity to choose a different life. One where her father and best friend are alive. It’s a life where she embraces her feelings for Gabi instead of running from them.
Stuck between the world she knows and a world she could have never dreamed of, Jennifer doesn’t know what to do. Either choice means losing pieces of herself and relationships she cherishes. What will make her happy? Who does she want to spend the rest of her life with? That’s for Jennifer to decide and hopefully, she makes the best choice for herself.
A New York Christmas Wedding will be available on November 5.
