Best Christmas movies on Netflix: Christmas with a View
Clara Garrison (Kaitlyn Leeb) has no interest in finding a holiday boo to bring to Christmas dinner with her family no matter how much her mom pesters her. She’s still licking her wounds after a failed restaurant opening in the city results in her picking up shifts at Thunder Mountain Ski Resort. This is not at all what she saw herself doing, but she’s got to pay the bills somehow.
If celebrity chef Shane Roarke (Scott Cavalherio) had been handpicked as head chef of the resort’s kitchen prior to her failure, Clara would probably be more excited but as it stands she more starstruck than anything. Still, she doesn’t have time for love or, at least, that’s what she told herself before getting to know Shane.
Clara could stick to her guns, keep her head down, and figure out the next steps or she could give Shane a chance. He loves food, she loves food, and they’re scorching up the workplace with their steamy looks. Maybe the best holiday dish they both could be served is love.
Or it could be the worst dish, Clara doesn’t know and her track record with what she wants hasn’t panned out so far. But a romance with Shane could be the thing that turns her luck around.
