The Princess Switch starring Vanessa Hudgens premiered on Netflix during the holiday season in 2019 and was a major hit for Netflix. Netflix quickly ordered and announced the sequel, The Princess Switch: Switched Again.

Recently, Netflix shared the release date for The Princess Switch: Switched Again. You can watch the new Netflix movie starring Vanessa Hudgens on Nov. 19, 2020, just in time for the holidays.

When announcing the release date for The Princess Switch: Switched Again, Netflix also confirmed The Princess Switch 3 is happening! Vanessa Hudgens will reprise her various roles in the film series and hopefully add another.

In the first movie, Hudgens plays two characters. In the third movie, Hudgens plays three characters. In the third movie, let’s hope she plays four characters. Sooner or later, The Princess Switch will just be Orphan Black set during the holidays.

When is The Princess Switch 3 coming to Netflix?

Netflix hasn’t announced the release date for The Princess Switch 3 yet, but we do have a good idea when The Princess Switch 3 is coming to Netflix. Netflix announced the third film of the series will be a holiday release in 2021.

According to Netflix, the cast and crew of the third movie will be heading to Scotland later this year to start production on The Princess Switch 3. That’s a really good thing because productions across the pond are getting started much more quickly than TV and film production in the US with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Princess Switch 3 will likely be released on Netflix in November or December 2021. I think the streaming network will try to get this movie out as early as possible rather than wait until the day before Christmas or something like that. Fans want new Christmas movies in October, and so Netflix would do well to get this movie to the people as early as possible.
