While we are working our way through the Halloween movies and shows, Netflix has us looking forward to new Christmas movies and shows coming this year.

Netflix shared the full list of new Christmas movies and shows to watch this year. Please grab a cup of hot cocoa and take a look at the list of holiday movies and shows on the way.

There are already a number of good holiday and Christmas movies to watch on Netflix, including A Bad Moms Christmas, The Christmas Chronicles, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Christmas Survival, and more.

This year’s Netflix theme for the holiday season is: “Netflix: Here for the Holidays.” Trust me, we are, in fact, here for the holidays.

Before we share the full list, check out a few of the highlights on the way this holiday season.

The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two

The highly anticipated sequel to The Christmas Chronicles will be here this holiday season. The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two will premiere one month before Christmas on Nov. 25.

The sequel will still feature Kurt Russel as Santa, and his real-life wife, Goldie Hawn, will again play Mrs. Claus. Teddy will be played by Judah Lewis once again, and Darby Camp is back as Kate.

This movie will take place a few years after the first, and this time a Belsnickel tries to stop Christmas.

Fans of the first one will be excited to see the second installment, and new fans will be happy to have more Christmas movies to add to their list.

Holidate

This holiday film falls into the rom-com genre. Holidate finds two single strangers who are tired of being single during all the holiday hoopla decide to be each other’s plus-one for the season.

This film stars Emma Robers and Luke Bracey and they are joined by Jake Manley, Jessica Capshaw, Andrew Bachelor, Frances Fisher, Manish Dayal and Kristin Chenoweth. Holidate will have a jump start on the official winter holiday season by being released on Oct. 28.

It is a fun, light-hearted film recognizing the agony some people feel during the holiday season when they are single and their families think they should not be.

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey

This is a film that families will be able to gather around with hot chocolate and cookies and enjoy together. Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is the tale of a toymaker and his granddaughter and their quest to save Christmas. Oh, did I mention it’s a musical?

This film has an all-star cast, including Forest Whitaker, Keegan-Michael Key, Hugh Bonneville, Anika Noni Rose, Phylicia Rashad and Ricky Martin. They are joined by newcomer Madalen Mills who plays Whitaker’s granddaughter in the film.

John Legend, Philip Lawrence and Davy Nathan are the creators of original songs for the film. And,  Usher and Kiana Ledé perform the song “The Day.”

It looks to be a magical film, full of wonder and excitement for the holiday season. Watch for this film on Nov. 13.
