Halloween movies and shows: 24.  Sinister

There are two movies available on Netflix that are titled Sinister. Both of them offer great chills and will keep you curled up on the couch, but here we are referring to 2012’s Sinister starring Ethan Hawke.

Sinister follows true-crime writer Ellison Oswalt (Hawke) who relocates his family to a new home due to no longer being able to afford their old lifestyle. Ellison hopes this new home will inspire him to write a new book. As he is searching around the house, he discovers a box in the attic packed with what seems to be old family movies. But once he plays them, he finds various murders.

Even if you have already watched this movie, it’s a great re-watch with some fun jump scares. With not many movies premiering late, it’s nostalgic reliving some old frights. For a spooky night, watch this movie on Netflix!

For a pair of unfortunate parents, this nightmare becomes a reality when they hire an evil babysitter who loves killing the innocence of children.

For those who aren’t parents, this movie may not spook you as much. It’s more of a light thriller more than anything else.
