30 best Halloween movies and shows on Netflix (2020)

Halloween movies and shows: 2. The Boy
I should have probably mentioned that this list is not in any sort of order. I’m not counting down the most frightening movies, so don’t think The Boy tops the list.
More than anything, The Boy is a fun, suspenseful drama that does offer a few jumpscares, but never anything frightening enough for you to go home with any nightmares. In fact, you may not even give the movie a second thought after you watch it.
The Boy stars Lauren Cohan as Greta, a young nanny hired to look after an eight-year-old boy. Greta accepts this opportunity as a chance to escape a currently difficult life, but when she arrives ready to meet the young boy, she learns it’s actually a doll.
Have the parents gone mad? Greta has no time to ask questions and instead accepts the fact that this is an easy gig. As it turns out, or so she is told, the couple’s real son died 20 years ago and this is their way to cope. But what is truly going on?
Halloween movies and shows: 1. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Of all the shows on this list, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina may not be the most frightening, but it is one of the most fun to watch for Halloween, right along with Stranger Things.
Make no mistake, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is not the teenage witch you grew up watching, and it’s definitely nothing like the animated series you tuned in to watch as kids. The Netflix original isn’t afraid to feature dark twists and turns, but that’s all part of the fun.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is a coming-of-age story that centers on Sabrina’s teen years as she must decide which direction to go when it comes to her witch side.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 4 is coming to Netflix later this year!
