Netflix shows: The Order

The Order season 2 was one of the most popular Netflix shows of the summer, especially the month of June when it premiered. Since its premiere, we haven’t heard much about The Order season 3, although based on what happened in the second season, there’s room to continue this story.

As mentioned, we usually have to wait about a month or two before Netflix announces renewals. Since the pandemic started, Netflix has waited a little bit longer to announce renewals than they used to. I’m not sure if that’s associated with the pandemic or not, but that’s what seems to be happening.

It would be a real shame for The Order to be canceled at Netflix right now. The series improved after the first season and it’s starting to get into the place where the real magic happens.

The Order is also at that line where many Netflix shows, unfortunately, end. Generally, TV shows get more expensive as they go along, especially as the cast gets raises, more actors are added to the series, and budgets expand.

For Netflix, that cost has to be justified by the viewership and positive gains in different markets and overall.

I don’t know where that line is for a show like The Order, but I’m very hopeful this show is renewed for season 3.
