1. Stranger Things season 3

Stranger Things 3 is the ultimate summer TV show to watch on Netflix. The series is set around Fourth of July weekend in 1985.

Following the events of the first two seasons, the kids of Hawkins just want to have a good summer, but things start to take a turn when the gate is reopened and an old foe is allowed back to Hawkins.

Stranger Things 3 is the biggest Netflix show to date over its opening weekend and month. It premiered on Netflix on July 4, 2019.

Stranger Things season 4 is happening at Netflix, but production was stopped because of the pandemic. Filming should start again soon if everything goes well. We’ll likely see the new season sometime in 2021.

2. The Last Summer

The Last Summer premiered on Netflix in May 2019, and it didn’t quite get the recognition it deserved from teen movie fans. Riverdale Star KJ Apa, Maia Mitchell, Tyler Posey, Halston Sage, Susie Bacon, and Jacob Latimore star in the Netflix movie.

The movie follows several couples as they try to make it through the last summer before they attend college.

If you like teen dramas, The Last Summer is the movie for you to watch on Netflix today.

3. Outer Banks

Outer Banks is the perfect summer show to watch on Netflix right now. The series, which premiered in April, is set on the Outer Banks, a chain of islands off the coast of North Carolina.

After his dad goes missing, John B (Chase Stokes) and his group of friends start looking for the treasure that shipwrecked off the coast of the island years ago. There are other hunters hot on the trail, as well.

Outer Banks has been renewed for season 2 at Netflix, and filming started at the end of August.

4. Banana Split

Netflix added Banana Split recently. Dylan Sprouse, Hannah Marks, and Liana Liberato.

In Banana Split, Nick (Sprouse) and April (Marks) break up after dating through high school. After graduation, the pair split. While April struggles to get over Nick, he moves on and starts seeing Clara (Liberato). April hates Clara at first, but after they meet at a party, they become really good friends, but they won’t tell Nick.

If you’re looking for a good high school summer movie, Banana Split is the movie for you. It’s quite funny.

There, they somehow get caught up in a murder investigation, where they are the main suspects. They try to prove their innocence.
