What is Due Date on Netflix about?

Netflix has an expansive inventory of film and television and its catalog is always growing. One film available to watch is the 2010 comedy film Due Date, which is on the streaming service’s Top 10 this week. Following two men on an urgent road trip from Atlanta to Los Angeles, Due Date has an all-star cast and a fun plot.

As reported by IMDB, Robert Downey Jr. portrays Peter Highman, a successful architect on his way home to be with his wife Sarah (Michelle Monaghan), who is days away from giving birth to their first child. Zach Galifianakis portrays Ethan Tremblay, a slacker who dreams of becoming an actor.

Funnily enough, Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer also appear in the film, playing their roles from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. You’ll have to watch the movie to find out why!

Due Date Synopsis

The film follows Peter Highman as he makes the journey home to Los Angeles to be with his wife as her due date approaches. After a series of unfortunate events lead to him being on the No Fly List, Peter’s only hope of making it home for the birth of his child is to drive cross-country with Ethan Tremblay, an irksome loafer who is on a mission to scatter his father’s ashes at the Grand Canyon. With time running out, this unlikely pair must put aside their differences in order to arrive at their destination.
