Is Stranger Things okay for kids to watch on Netflix?

Stranger Things is the most popular Netflix show to date, and accordingly, parents all over the world are wondering if the show is suitable for kids.

While Stranger Things is a show about kids, it might not be a good show for all kids.

Stranger Things has a TV-14 rating, which means some of the content might not be suitable for children under 14 years old.

The first season of Stranger Things is definitely less disturbing than the second and third seasons. The first season features some gun violence, and there is a monster and graphic violence associated with that monster that could be disturbing for some viewers.

The second and third seasons are much more violent and graphic, and I’m guessing that could be where many parents draw the line with this series. The second season ramps up the violence, especially the graphic violence associated with the monsters. There are more deaths shown on-screen, and it’s just more disturbing for younger viewers, in general.

Stranger Things season 3 is probably the most adult season of the show so far. There is graphic violence, more character deaths shown on screen, and some incredibly gruesome scenes associated with the season’s monsters. Even some children, and adults for that matter, above the age of 14 years old might find it to be too much.

The choice is obviously up to parents. I don’t think the show is all that scary, but I’m sure that some younger kids, and even adults, would find some of the scenes to be very disturbing or unsettling.

And, it really just depends on what kids, and adults, are comfortable with. I’m sure there are many kids who will watch this show and be just fine, while others might have a hard time dealing with what’s depicted on-screen. Some adults might even find some of the horror themes, stunts, and scenes to be too much.

Stranger Things is coming back for season 4. The show started production earlier this year, but of course, filming was delayed because of the coronavirus. Season 4 is slated to be released in 2021.

The show is also coming back for season 5 on Netflix.
