Good Netflix shows delayed: Lucifer season 5

Lucifer season 5, part 1 premiered on Netflix in August 2020, but we were expecting to see the new episodes of season 5 a lot sooner than that. While Netflix has not confirmed that the Lucifer season 5 release date was delayed, it’s clear that most of the cast and creative team thought the new season was coming as early June 2020.

Now, we’re expecting Lucifer season 5, part 2 to be delayed, as well. According to Chris Rafferty, writer and executive producer of Lucifer, no one knows when season 5, part 2 is going to be released. The cast and crew still have a few days left of production on the second half of the season.

Because the series films in Los Angeles, it’s unlikely that production will resume anytime soon. We’ll let you know as soon as we know anything about the new season.

Good Netflix shows delayed: Sex Education season 3

Sex Education season 3 was supposed to start production this spring. Obviously, that start date was pushed back because of the pandemic.

Like The Witcher, Sex Education season 3 is expected to start production later this summer. While this is great news for fans of the original series, we have to imagine this is going to push back the release date of Sex Education season 3.

We were originally expecting a January 2021 release date for season 3. Now, we’re just hoping to see the new season on Netflix at all next year. We’ll keep you posted on the status of the release date when we find out.
