5. Deckerstar together

If there is one thing that we all want, for the love of All State Guy, then, please, just let Lucifer and Chloe be a couple at the end of the season. Henderson and Modrovich, along with many shows that have a “will they, won’t they” dynamic worry about something called the Moonlighting Curse, have concerns about Deckerstar getting together and the show losing something special. But, on the flip side, keeping them apart for too long is just as annoying as well.

Season 5 should end with Deckerstar together and a definite couple. With that ending, season 6 will have a springboard of how a romance between them would actually work. Because there is drama to be mined in getting your happy ending and then having to put in the work for a regular relationship.

6. Someone leaves hell

Whether this should be a season 5 ending or a series ending is definitely up for debate, but given where we leave Mr. Said Out Bitch (Jeremiah Birkett) at the end of the first episode of season 5? It would definitely be a great full-circle moment if he’s the one who, makes peace with his guilt and leaves Hell.

There’s something to be said about why Hell is portrayed as an eternal loop of your worst moments, your biggest regrets, but breaking the cycle? That’s pretty powerful.

It could definitely be tied into Lucifer breaking his own cycle of self-loathing and guilt as well, especially since people theorize that we’re going to see Heaven in season 5? That’s definitely a pretty powerful ending to have.
