Horror Movies on Tubi September 2020

If you’re anything like this writer, you simply can’t get enough of horror films. Tubi’s offerings include popular films like Let Me In and The Crazies, but you’ll also find some of the campiest offerings (e.g. Gingerdead Man and Evil Bong) out there. The addition of the following movies on Tubi in September 2020 holds true to this commitment.

  • Scream (1996)
  • Scream 2 (1997)
  • Scream 3 (2000)
  • The Lost Brigade (1993)

This movie deserves a special note due to just how awful it looks. Honestly, it has a 4.7 on IMDb. That’s low even for a campy horror film. The premise of the movie, however, demands at least one viewing. A voodoo entity shows up and starts bringing dead Civil War soldiers back from the grave. So in a way, you’ll actually get to see the South rise again. I’m here all weekend!

  • The Uninvited (2009)
  • Under Suspicion (2000)
  • Killer Joe (2011)

The film Killer Joe also deserves special mention merely because it features Matthew McConaughey in a horror role. It’s also a pretty great movie. McConaughey plays a hitman who takes a job on the contingent that he gets to sleep with his client’s young sister. There’s definitely some craziness going on in this one.

Action Movies on Tubi September 2020

Regardless of what someone says their favorite genre is, who can really pass up a great action film? Tubi’s offerings this month are stellar examples of why people are dumbfounded at the idea of the service being free. Don’t worry – I don’t quite understand it either.

  • Fire With Fire (2012)
  • Kick-Ass (2010)

Grab a bit of comic relief while simultaneously satiating your appetite for action with Kick-Ass. This is an awesome tale of a young guy who decides to make a difference in the world by becoming a superhero. No, he doesn’t have any powers. When you’ve got this kind of motivation, though, you don’t need to be an X-Man to succeed.

No Escape (2015)
