The Bachelor came to Netflix late last year… but only one season, oddly enough. Even though it’s arguably the most iconic season of the dating competition series, the appearance of just one season on Netflix left fans scratching their heads.

Here’s what we know about more seasons of The Bachelor coming to Netflix.

What season of The Bachelor is on Netflix?

As of right now, season 13 of The Bachelor is the only one available on the streaming platform in the U.S. For those of you who don’t recall, season 13 was one wild ride from start to finish. The season premiered on January 5, 2009, and featured bachelor Jason Mesnick.

Jason Mesnick was a single father to his son Ty; he was the first single parent to be featured on the series. Mesnick competed on the fourth season of The Bachelorette as one of the suitors of Deanna Pappas, and he was subsequently chosen to be the next Bachelor.

I was 12 years old when the season aired, and I watched it religiously. Jason seemed like a genuinely good person, and I, along with the rest of America, couldn’t wait to see who he ended up with.

As it goes on The Bachelor, eventually Jason was left to choose between two women: Melissa Rycroft and Molly Malaney. Jason ended up proposing to Melissa, but chaos quickly ensued. During the After The Final Rose special, Mesnick realized that he was still in love with Molly, and subsequently ended things with Melissa.

Afterwards, Mesnick proposed to Malaney and she happily accepted. It was the messiest, most dramatic season in the show’s history, and you can’t change my mind. Viewers watched a real-life love triangle play out on their televisions, and no moment will ever top it.

Jason and Molly have since gotten married (a wedding that aired as a special on ABC!) and have had a daughter together. They are one of the few couples in the show’s history to make a lasting connection, and I’ll ship them forever.

Considering how memorable Jason Mesnick’s season was, it makes total sense to me that it’s the only one on Netflix right now.

Will more seasons of The Bachelor come onto Netflix?

As previously reported by PopSugar, it is currently unknown if more seasons of The Bachelor will be made available on Netflix. ABC does have a streaming deal with Netflix, so perhaps they’re gearing up to add The Bachelor in its entirely.

Right now, there is no news about more seasons of the franchise coming to Netflix, but at least you can relive the spectacle that is season 13!
