Netflix shows to watch: 4. Locke and Key

Locke and Key is another must-watch on Netflix, especially if you like Stranger Things. While it’s not set in the ’80s, there are some major similarities between the two shows.

Locke and Key is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Gabriel Ba and Joe Hill. The series stars Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Jackson Robert Scott, Petrice Jones, Laysla De Oliveira, and Griffin Gluck.

In the series, the Locke family moves back to their father’s childhood home, Keyhouse, after their father was murdered. There, the Locke kids find a bunch of magical keys in the house. It’s not all fun and games, though. A demon wants the keys from the kids.

Locke and Key is coming back for season 2 on Netflix!

Netflix shows to watch: 5. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is another series based on characters and stories from comics, specifically Archie Comics.

In the series, Sabrina Spellman, played by Kiernan Shipka, has to choose between becoming a witch or a mortal on her 16th birthday. That’s where the series begins, at least. Things take a very Hell-ish turn.

Shipka is joined in the series by Ross Lynch, Gavin Leatherwood, Lucy Davis, Miranda Otto, Chance Perdomo, Tati Gabrielle, Michelle Gomez, Jaz Sinclair, Lachlan Watson, and Richard Coyle. This show has an excellent cast!

Unfortunately, there are only eight episodes of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina left. Netflix canceled the series ahead of the release of Part 4.

It’s such a bummer because Chilling Adventures of Sabrina had Witch Wars coming in Part 5 and a Riverdale crossover. Oh well, maybe we’ll get to see the CAOS characters pop up in future seasons of Riverdale on The CW.
