Reality shows are always going to be a hit. They’re (relatively) inexpensive to produce and they offer fans a look inside otherwise inaccessible places and lifestyles.

Selling Sunset is one of many real estate reality shows on the market, following in the footsteps of Bravo’s popular Million Dollar Listing franchise, but the Netflix iteration offers fans a look inside some of the swankiest homes on the Sunset Strip in sunny Los Angeles, California. Even when they are for sale, many of these homes aren’t open to the general public to tour during open houses, so Selling Sunset provides a unique opportunity for fans to get inside some of the most exclusive properties on the market.

These are the multi-million dollar homes of celebrities and entertainment moguls, and the real estate agents who sell their homes have to be ready to deal with just about anything that can happen.

Now in its third season, Selling Sunset will no doubt have many more jaw-dropping properties to showcase along with the inevitable drama that comes with being in real estate, but the big question is whether or not the changing economy of LA’s real estate market will play into the season’s story.
