The new season of Shameless is coming to Netflix very soon!

Netflix just shared the full list of new movies and shows coming to the streaming service in July 2020. The list confirmed Shameless season 10 will be added to Netflix on Sunday, July 26.

We’ve known for a while that Shameless season 10 was coming to Netflix sometime this summer. The streaming service adds new seasons of the TV series exactly six months after the season finale airs on Showtime.

Shameless season 10 ended on January 26, so we knew the full season was coming on July 26.

Shameless season 10 will look a lot different compared to previous seasons. Star Emmy Rossum, who plays Fiona Gallagher in the series, left the series before the start of season 10. Rossum’s character has been the matriarch of the Gallagher family, and it’ll be interesting to see how the show moves on for two full seasons without her.

Shameless season 11 will be the final season of the Showtime series. That news was announced last year around the beginning of season 10.

While you wait for the season to be added to Netflix, we highly recommend you get caught up or re-watch the ninth season, at least, so you know where the new season is starting. It’s probably been a while since you saw season 9!

Unfortunately, it’s probably going to be a while before we see the final season of the hit series on Showtime, and even longer before we see the last season on Netflix. TV and film production in the United States and abroad has been shut down, and that appears to have caused some delays with the final season of the series.

It’s unclear when the final season of the show will be released. When it was renewed, it was announced that Shameless season 11 would premiere in the summer of 2020, but that’s not happening now because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
