Canceled shows Netflix should save: Constantine

Lucifer fans will probably like this one!

Constantine is based on the DC Comics character of the same name, like Lucifer. The series premiered on NBC in 2014 and was canceled after one season. In the series, Matt Ryan stars as John Constantine, a detective.

There’s always been rumors and rumblings about a Constantine revival, but so far, we haven’t seen anything official. That could be changing, though.

For those who don’t know, Constantine has been appearing in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow since the third season in 2017.

Constantine, played by Ryan, joined the “Crisis on Infinite Earth” crossover, along with Lucifer Morningstar, played by Tom Ellis. That appears to have opened the door to a possible Constantine revival and Lucifer crossover in the future.

Lucifer has been an incredible success on Netflix, and I think those fans would also tune in for a Constantine revival. Plus, we could also get a crossover between the two shows, which would just be awesome considering everything fans of these shows have been through.

These shows would just work so well together, and I’m hoping, hoping, hoping that a Constantine revival at Netflix could happen in the near future. For now, all we have to do is wait. Oh, and maybe let Netflix know that you want this to happen!

You can watch the first season of Constantine on Hulu right now.
