Canceled shows Netflix should save: Sweet/Vicious

Sweet/Vicious is one of the most underrated TV shows of the last five years. The series was created by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and premiered on MTV in 2016 and ran for one season on the network.

Unfortunately, it was canceled after one season and was not picked up for season 2 by another network.

Sweet/Vicious stars Eliza Bennett and Taylor Dearden as Jules and Ophelia. The pair moonlight as vigilantes of sorts to seek justice on sex predators on their college campus.

There’s never been a better time to revive this series. The superhero/vigilante genre has never been more popular, and the series tackles very important social issues. On Netflix, there’s no doubt, absolutely none, that a Sweet/Vicious revival would be a huge success.

You might also recognize Jennifer Kaytin Robinson as the writer/director of Someone Great starring Gina Rodriguez, DeWanda Wise, and Brittany Snow. We really hope to see more of Robinson’s projects on Netflix in the near future, as well.

Of all these revivals, I think this would likely work the best. There’s just so much potential for a show like this, and we only got to see so little of this story.

If you haven’t seen Sweet/Vicious, you should check it out now!
