New Netflix Shows: The Eddy

Did you like almost Best Picture winner La La Land? Well, if you did, The Eddy is the show for you! Even if you didn’t like La La Land, this is the series for you!

The Netflix original series was by Damien Chazelle and created by Jack Thorne. It focuses on a jazz club owner and his business in Paris.

The series has an incredible cast with André Holland, Joanna Kulig, Leïla Bekhti, Tahar Rahim, Adil Dehbi, Randy Kerber, Ludovic Louis, Damian Cortes, Lada Obradovic, Jowee Omicil, and Amandla Stenberg.

Overall, the buzz for The Eddy hasn’t been huge, so it’s been overlooked a little bit. If you haven’t seen it, it’s well worth a watch on Netflix now.

As it stands, The Eddy will not return for season 2. It’s more of a limited series, anyway. But, you never know. Maybe there’s more to this story or a spinoff of some kind in the works. We’ll have to wait and see.
