We’ve already touched on one heroic drama bringing its latest episodes to the streaming giant, but we’re also in for a season’s worth of fresh episodes of Roswell, New Mexico. It’s the perfect time to pick up where you left off, rewatch your favorite episodes or start one of the month’s new releases from the beginning for the first time.

Based on the Roswell High book series by Melinda Metz, Roswell, New Mexico takes a few creative liberties with the aging of its characters. The series centers on biomedical researcher Liz Ortecho (Jeanine Mason) as she returns to her hometown of — you guessed it — Roswell, New Mexico, the site of a supposed alien sighting years in the past. Liz works at her undocumented parents’ restaurant and discovers her lifelong crush, Max Evans (Nathan Dean Parsons) has kept his secret of being an alien a secret. Along with his siblings, Max turns to Liz to protect his secret as those fearful of aliens threaten to expose them.

Roswell, New Mexico first premiered on The CW in January 2019 and proved itself to be a solid successor in the Roswell High television franchise. While the series received mixed reception from critics, holding a 55% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s found a loyal fanbase as most underrated shows tend to do. Before its second season even began airing in March, The CW renewed Roswell, New Mexico for season 3 in a shocking renewal sweep of most of its lineup. Thankfully, new fans can binge away with the knowledge more episodes are on the way. Don’t miss the latest episodes when season 2 begins streaming on Netflix at an estimated release date of June 23.
