Charmed season 2 is coming to Netflix tonight. Get ready to rewatch the entire second season of The CW’s hit reboot when it arrives on Netflix.
Charmed season 2 might be over, but the good news is fans are just hours away from the chance to relive all the action from the show’s sophomore season! Thanks to Netflix and The CW‘s deal, Charmed season 2 is heading to Netflix tonight, just over a week after the series aired its final hour of the season.
Those located on the east coast will be able to begin their binge-watch of season 2 when the season drops at 3:01 a.m. on Saturday, May 9. Those located on the pacific coast have even better luck, getting the chance to watch the sophomore season just after midnight, with season 2 arriving at 12:01 a.m. PT.
Without giving anything away to those who haven’t yet had the chance to catch the show’s second season and have been waiting for its Netflix arrival, let’s just say season 2 found the show going in an unexpected direction.
Right out of the gate, Charmed season 2 essentially rebooted itself in throwing a major curveball in the directions of sisters Mel, Macy and Maggie. The twist essentially set the series on an unexpected course which allowed the writers to explore new storylines and characters!
One warning we will give fans looking forward to binge-watching Charmed season 2 is to be prepared for the season to end a bit more abrupt than anticipated.
Due to production shutdowns, Charmed was forced to end its season sooner than expected. Rather than featuring 22 episodes as initially planned, season 2 instead ended at the 19 episode mark. As a result, the writers weren’t able to finish out the remaining episodes planned for the season leaving more questions than anticipated left unanswered.
The good news is the writers will have the chance to address the plotlines originally planned for the season’s final three episodes, as The CW has renewed Charmed for a third season. In the meantime, fans can catch up with the Vera-Vaughn sisters when Charmed season 2 comes to Netflix tonight, Saturday, May 9.
