Stranger Things season 4 will be the scariest season yet, according to star Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington in the Netflix series.

Stranger Things season 4 will be scarier than the other seasons, according to one of the show’s stars.

In an interview with Games Radar, Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington in the series, said this season’s episodes will be darker and scarier than the previous seasons.

Keery also added that he feels the Duffer Brothers have added many out of the box elements that are sure to please the fans.

And, don’t worry, Keery also assured us we wouldn’t see a resurrection of his Scoops Ahoy uniform. Steve officially has a new gid.

Here’s what Keery told Games Radar about Stranger Things season 4.

"“Oh man, it’s pretty amazing – the Duffer brothers have really done it again. I think that this year – and I know I say this every single year – but this is definitely going to be a lot scarier than prior years, because last year was pretty dark.”"

As the characters age, the series could naturally become darker and more intense. A darker and scarier season is exciting news for fans of the series. Season 3 was much darker than the other seasons, so it will be exciting to see what is to come and what direction the series will take.

Unfortunately, it will be a while until we see Stranger Things season 4. Most shows and movies have been postponed amid the COVID-19 crisis, and season 4 of Stranger Things is no exception.

Sadly, there is still no news on when they will resume filming. The filming was initially scheduled from January to August of 2020, so with the mid-March cut off date, there is still a considerable portion of the season yet to be filmed.

On Valentine’s day of this year, which seems like an eternity ago, Stranger Things twitter posted our first look at season 4.

Fans reacted positively and were so glad to see Hopper (David Harbour) again. The end of season 3 left us wondering if we would see Hopper again or not. Even though it looks like he is imprisoned in Russia, that is better than the alternative, that he died in the last season.

It seems we have a lot to look forward to in season 4. Stranger Things ranks as Netflix’s top-performing title, and it is easy to understand why. You have the 80s nostalgia, all the excitement, and intrigue which appeals to multiple generations of people.
