Netflix is bringing over 20 new shows and movies this week, including season 2 of Dead to Me, a documentary with Michelle Obama, and so much more!

May is officially here and while the weather may be getting warmer, due to the coronavirus, that doesn’t necessarily mean we’re all going outside. Whether it’s because there isn’t a place for you to go outside and be away from people or because being outside isn’t really your thing (no judgment), Netflix will continue to be what some people are using to stay sane while stuck at home.

But if you feel like you’ve exhausted your list of shows and movies to watch (or re-watch), the streaming service has new content coming this week that you won’t want to miss. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for a new inspiring documentary, a new season of a Netflix Original, or looking to catch up on an old favorite, Netflix has something for you.

On Wednesday, May 6, Michelle Obama is coming to Netflix with the documentary, Becoming. The film follows the former first lady as she goes on tour with her book of the same name, and discusses her life, what she hopes for, and how she connects with people she meets along the way. If you’re looking for something to make your feel good, this is the perfect option.

If you’re more in the mood for comedy (albeit a dark one), the second season of Dead to Me hits Netflix on Friday, May 8. The series starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini follows Jen Harding (Applegate) and Judy Hale (Cardellini) as they bond over their shared grief. They first meet in therapy and start up a friendship, but what Jen doesn’t know is that Judy is keeping a secret that will change their lives if it’s revealed. If you haven’t watched this show, it’s worth watching to learn the secret alone. It’s big!

Or maybe you’re in the mood for an old favorite? If so, you’re in luck because season 16 of Grey’s Anatomy will be on Netflix on Saturday, May 9. Sixteen seasons? Really? People talk about Supernatural being on a long time, but Grey’s Anatomy has them beat!

The medical drama continues to pull in fans every week due to the complicated relationships between the characters, but this season was one of the most controversial. Season 16 is when Alex Karev finally left the show and it was in a way many fans hated. So if you haven’t’ watched it yet, beware!
