Riverdale season 4 will be coming to Netflix slightly sooner than expected, with the newest season arriving in mid-May!
With Riverdale season 4 set to end its run on The CW earlier than originally planned due to production shutdowns, the fourth season of the network’s Netflix release date has also been moved up ever so slightly.
While originally anticipated to arrive on Netflix around May 21 or May 28, we can now confirm Riverdale season 4 will drop on Netflix Thursday, May 14.
Like most shows, Riverdale season 4 has had its ups and downs throughout the season, but overall the fourth season of the series has yet another enjoyable watch. With the FARM storyline tied up quickly at the top of the season, the writers were able to kickstart a new mystery for viewers to solve while returning to many of the dynamics introduced in back in season 1.
Arriving on a Thursday, Riverdale season 4 will make for the perfect weekend binge watch and we’re already expecting the series to quickly rise to the top of Netflix’s Top 10 upon its release. After all, it was the show’s performance on Netflix back in its early days that helped the show establish itself as one of The CW’s top-performing series.
Not only can fans enjoy streaming Riverdale season 4 on Netflix this May, but they can also look forward to more adventures with Archie, Betty, Jughead, Veronica and the gang as The CW has already renewed the show for a fifth season. While a premiere date is not yet known, it’s likely the new season will arrive sometime in the fall of 2020 on The CW.
